Dougie Freedman: 'Concentration slip won't happen again'

Nottingham Forest boss Dougie Freedman insists that the lack of concentration which cost his side victory at Blackpool on Saturday will not happen again.

Nottingham Forest manager Dougie Freedman has insisted that the lack of concentration which cost his side victory at Blackpool on Saturday will not happen again.

The Reds fought from two goals down to lead 4-3 in injury time at Bloomfield Road, before a 97th-minute equaliser from David Ferguson allowed the hosts to snatch a 4-4 draw.

"I am a young coach and I have been sat on that bench for almost 200 games – and I have never seen a game as bizarre as that, particularly in the last five minutes. So you do learn, you are always learning in this business," Freedman told the Nottingham Post.

"I do love it. But it was a very difficult afternoon to talk about in an interview. I do enjoy it, I do love it – but when you think you have got a victory a lack of concentration costs you.

"It will not happen again, I will make sure of that. We will be working hard, night and day, to make sure that does not happen again."

Forest are 10th in the Championship tablewith 41 points.
