Report: Neil Warnock to become Nottingham Forest manager

Neil Warnock will replace Billy Davies as Nottingham Forest manager, according to a report.

Neil Warnock has been lined up to become the next manager of Nottingham Forest, according to a report.

The future of current Forest boss Billy Davies has been called into question following his side's 5-0 defeat to arch rivals Derby County on Saturday, which extended their winless run to seven matches.

It is believed that Davies and his backroom staff did not report for training on Monday morning, which has fuelled speculation that the Scot has been dismissed.

According to The Guardian, Warnock will take over until the end of the season after speaking to Forest owner Fawaz Al Hasawi on Sunday evening.

The former Queens Park Rangers boss has been out of work since leaving Leeds United last April.
