Scotland international Kenny Miller scores the only goal of the game as Cardiff City claim all three points at Nottingham Forest.

Nottingham Forest remain in the Championship relegation zone following today's 1-0 home loss to Cardiff City.

After a goalless opening 45 minutes, the winning goal arrived just before the hour mark. Peter Whittingham produced a cross which was met by Kenny Miller and the Scotland international guided a headed effort beyond Lee Camp in goal.

Forest's best chance of claiming an equaliser came in stoppage time but Joel Lynch's effort from 18 yards brushed the upright as it went wide of goal.

The three points has allowed Cardiff to tighten their grip on a top-six place in the league.
