Nottingham Forest have confirmed that Mustapha Carayol has left the Championship club by mutual consent.
The 29-year-old winger made 38 appearances for the Reds, scoring three times, after joining the club in 2016.
Carayol, who signed for Forest after leaving Middlesbrough by mutual consent two-and-a-half years ago, is believed to be eyeing a move to Ipswich Town.
According to the East Anglian Daily Times, the Blues will offer Carayol a deal until the end of the season before the January transfer window shuts.
The Gambia international has previously also played for the likes of Torquay United, Lincoln City and Bristol Rovers.
