Nottingham Forest manager Dougie Freedman has stated that he is looking to add versatile players to his ranks this summer.
The Reds are currently working under a transfer embargo, which is restricting their ability to sign new faces.
Free agents Nicky Maynard and Paul Taylor have joined Forest for their pre-season camp in Sweden, with a view to earning permanent deals.
"We want players who are versatile, who can play in more than one position," Freedman told the Nottingham Post.
"Tyler Walker can do that for us, he can play up front or in a wider role. "[Jamie] Ward is the same, he can play in a couple of different positions. Paul Taylor is another who fits into that category, he can fill a number of roles, which is one of the reasons we are looking at him.
"In the position we are in, it is wise to have players who can fill more than one role."
Forest have signed Jamie Ward and Matt Mills so far this summer.
