Nottingham Forest owner Fawaz Al-Hasawi has assured supporters of the club that he will be able to build a "strong squad", despite the transfer embargo restricting them this summer.
Forest have been able to add out-of-contract duo Jamie Ward and Matt Mills on free transfers, but their ability to sign new players is compromised.
Rumours have also suggested that Forest winger Michail Antonio could be a target for fellow Championship side Leeds United, but Al-Hasawi is certain that he can keep the likes of Antonio at the City Ground.
"I would like to reassure our fans that I have no intention of selling Michail Antonio or any other player who wants to be part of this club," said Al-Hasawi on Twitter.
"I will continue to work alongside our manager in building a strong squad ahead of the new season.
"I have faith that Dougie and his staff will bring in the right players. We need quality not quantity."
Forest finished 14th in the Championship last season.
