Nottingham Forest are reportedly eyeing up a loan deal for West Ham United right-back Sam Byram.
Byram has failed to nail down a starting spot in the team since joining the Hammers for £3.7m in 2016, following a string of injuries over the course of the last two seasons.
The Premier League side wrapped up the signing of Fulham right-back Ryan Fredericks earlier this month and already have former Manchester City player Pablo Zabaleta to compete in the position as well, leaving little room for Byram in the squad next season.
According to The Sun, Forest have identified the player as a potential replacement for Hull City-bound Eric Lichaj.
The former Leeds United defender has previously been called up for the England Under-20s side.
