Keith Curle has enjoyed a winning start to life as manager of Notts County with a 1-0 victory over Stevenage.
The hosts came closest to breaking the deadlock in the first half when Alan Judge's shot hit the post.
County grabbed their winner in the second minute of added time thanks to Jeff Hughes's long-range drive.
The win has lifted Curle's side up to tenth in the League One table.
