Former Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Jake Cassidy has joined Oldham Athletic on a two-year contract.
The 22-year-old links up with the League One club on a free transfer after being released by the Molineux outfit at the end of last season.
Latics manager Darren Kelly told the Manchester Evening News: "I'm absolutely delighted to get Jake on board. I've watched him numerous times before and he was my number one target.
"He is a finisher, has a very good physical presence and can hold up the play and link with the midfield so we are delighted he has joined."
Cassidy, a Wales Under-21 international, becomes Oldham's third signing of the summer, following the arrivals of Lee Croft and George Green.
