Team News: Luca Toni starts for Fiorentina against Palermo

Striker Luca Toni starts for Fiorentina against his former club Palermo this afternoon, but goalkeeper Emiliano Viviano is dropped.

Luca Toni has been drafted into the Fiorentina starting lineup for their Serie A game against Palermo away from home this afternoon.

The 35-year-old Italian striker played for the Rosanero for two years between 2003 and 2005 before joining the Florence-based side.

Goalkeeper Emiliano Viviano, who is on loan at Fiorentina from Palermo, has been dropped because of poor form.

Fabrizio Miccoli, who played for the Viola in 2004-05, will lead Palermo's attack at home.
