Greek club Panathinaikos have reportedly identified Barnsley goalkeeper Luke Steele as a summer transfer target.
The 29-year-old, who has 12 months left to run on his deal at Oakwell, has been tipped to move on following the club's relegation to League One.
That has alerted Panathinaikos head coach Giannis Anastasiou, who is currently without a senior keeper, according to Sky Sports News.
Should Steele, who started his career with Manchester United, make the move, he will join a squad that contains former West Ham United and Fulham centre-forward Mladen Petric.
