Philadelphia Union and Real Salt Lake played out an uninspiring goalless draw in their Major League Soccer clash at the PPL Park on Friday.
Philadelphia had more possession in the first half but failed to do much of note, with Salt Lake failing to conjure up anything concrete.
The hosts created just one good chance in the first 45 minutes, and that too towards the end of the half when Danny Cruz failed to keep his first-time effort on target following excellent build-up play from Michael Farfan.
The second half proved just as flat, as there was no concrete chance for either side.
Salt Lake have now moved just four points behind leaders San Jose Earthquakes in the Western Conference, while Philadelphia remain eighth in the Eastern Conference.
