Former Liverpool defender Alan Hansen believes that Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski has enough quality to cause England problems when they face Poland on Tuesday.
The Three Lions will secure their place for next year's World Cup in Brazil if they snatch all three points from Poland at Wembley.
While Hansen believes that the Polish team as a whole do not pose much threat, the Match of the Day pundit believes that England need to be wary of Lewandowski.
"Poland are an average team and not in the same league as the 1973 side who knocked England out of the World Cup, but in Lewandowski, they possess a player who is proven at the top level," Hansen wrote in The Telegraph.
"He is not a 'maybe' player, he is a guy who has scored four goals in one game against Real Madrid for Borussia Dortmund and earned himself a probable move next summer to Bayern Munich, so he is the one who could stop England going to Brazil."
Poland lost by a single goal in their qualifier against Ukraine on Friday.
