Pontevedra vs. Mallorca (Friday, 6.00pm)

Mallorca will be aiming to book their spot in the last-16 stage of the Copa del Rey when they tackle Pontevedra CF on Friday evening.

The visitors entered the winter break in Spain off the back of successive wins over Girona and Getafe, which moved them into sixth spot in the La Liga table, while fourth-tier outfit Pontevedra have been victorious in each of their last five matches in all competitions.

We say: Pontevedra CF 1-3 Mallorca

Pontevedra are a strong outfit in good form, and we are expecting the hosts to give their fans a goal to cheer on Friday night, but Mallorca's superior quality all over the field should allow them to advance to the next stage of the competition.

Granada vs. Getafe (Friday, 6.00pm)

Nuevo Estadio de Los Carmenes will play host to an intriguing contest Copa del Rey contest on Friday evening, with second-tier outfit Granada welcoming La Liga side Getafe in the last-32 stage of the competition.

Granada drew 1-1 with Eibar in their last match before the winter break, which left them seventh in the Segunda Division table, while Getafe, who are 17th in the La Liga table, have lost their last two against Atletico Madrid and Mallorca.

We say: Granada 2-1 Getafe

This is a really tough match to call, as Granada are a strong outfit and will fancy their chances of overcoming a struggling team in Spain's top flight; Getafe have been strong defensively in La Liga this term, but we are predicting a narrow success for the hosts here.

Rayo Vallecano will be aiming to book their spot in the last-16 stage of the Copa del Rey when they take on Segunda Division outfit Racing Club de Ferrol on Friday night.

The visitors have beaten Villamuriel and Unionistas de Salamanca in the early stages of this season's competition, while Racing Ferrol have overcome Cuarte and Barakaldo to secure their spot in the round of 32.

We say: Racing Club de Ferrol 0-2 Rayo Vallecano

Racing Ferrol are capable of making this a tricky match for Rayo; we are not expecting many goals, but the visitors will be able to call upon the superior quality, and we are backing the La Liga side to book their spot in the next round of the competition.
