Port Vale goalkeeper Sam Johnson has signed a new one-year deal with the League One club.
The 22-year-old, who has made 26 first-team appearances for the Valiants since 2012, had been out of contract before accepting fresh terms at Vale Park.
"Sam is a very promising young goalkeeper and someone we were keen to keep," manager Rob Page told the club's official website. "So I'm pleased that he has signed the contract we have offered him and we're looking forward to working with him once again next season."
Johnson has previously enjoyed loan spells with Stafford Rangers and Alfreton Town.
