The hosts went ahead in the 20th minute through Eric Brunner, who beat Sean Johnson from close range following Kris Boyd's corner.
Chicago were level before half time when Jalil Anibaba struck a right-footed shot into the bottom-left corner after 38 minutes.
The decisive moment came in the 51st minute when Logan Pause turned into his own goal from a corner.
