Porto are reportedly close to winning the race to sign Reading forward Danny Loader on a free transfer.
Last summer, the youngster was on the brink of moving to Wolverhampton Wanderers, only for Reading to pull the plug on a deal at the last minute.
However, Loader has remained as a fringe member at the Madejski Stadium, inevitably leading to his desire to move to another club at the end of his contract.
While Crystal Palace have also been suggested as a potential destination, the Daily Mail says that Porto are in advanced discussions with the Englishman.
Despite winning the Portuguese title, Porto are in a period of transition with many of the star men likely to move on during the upcoming transfer window.
With the opportunity of regular first-team football, that has seemingly led to Loader accepting a three-year contract.
