Portsmouth reportedly want Martin Allen to become their next manager.
The League Two side are looking for a new boss after Andy Awford left Fratton Park by mutual consent earlier this month.
Allen has guided Barnet back into the Football League after a two-year absence by winning the Conference Premier title at the weekend.
It is the second title that the 49-year-old has won in three seasons, after lifting the League Two crown with Gillingham in 2013.
Allen is out of contract this summer and Portsmouth are keen to appoint him as their manager, according to the Daily Mail.
The report adds that the Pompey hierarchy are keen to win promotion from the fourth tier and they want Allen to make it happen.
Allen is currently in the middle of his fourth spell in charge of Barnet.
