Richie Barker has said that Portsmouth are making progress in the attacking areas of the pitch.
Pompey played out a 1-1 draw with Exeter City last time out, and Barker believes that the work during training is beginning to produce a creative spark.
"In terms of attacking, I was more pleased than I had been for a while. We were more creative and I thought we put their back four under more pressure," the manager told the Portsmouth News.
"That's something we have been working on for the last couple of weeks. There were things we had worked on in the previous week which the players have started to take on board."
Pompey have scored 34 times in League Two this season.
