Portsmouth manager Guy Whittingham believes that his side deserved more after falling to a 2-1 defeat to Scunthorpe United.
Pompey took the lead through Tom Craddock's goal, but a brace by David Syers ensured that the managerless away side left Fratton Park victorious.
"With a bit of luck, we could have got something out of the game," Whittingham told the Portsmouth News. "It didn't fall for us, we hit the post and the bar.
"I think their keeper made the best save of the game – although I agree Trevor Carson made some saves.
"Going forward, we look good. Defensively, we don't look so good. That is the easy way to sum it up."
The defeat was Pompey's fourth in a row and means that they are now 18th in League Two.
