Team News: Danny East replaces for Jack Whatmough for Portsmouth

Danny East replaces Jack Whatmough as Portsmouth interim boss Andy Awford makes just one change to his team for the clash with Wycombe Wanderers at Fratton Park.

Portsmouth caretaker manager Andy Awford has named just one change to his team for the visit of Wycombe Wanderers at Fratton Park in League Two tonight.

Defender Danny East is poised to deputise in the absence of Jack Whatmough, who started the 0-0 draw with Hartlepool United on Saturday but misses out this evening through illness.

Meanwhile, the Chairboys boss Gareth Ainsworth recalls top scorer Dean Morgan to his first XI for the trip to the South Coast.

Morgan, who has hit six goals in England's fourth tier this season, sat out the 2-0 defeat to Dagenham & Redbridge at the weekend, but the striker returns in place of Steven Craig.

Elsewhere, Josh Scowen will miss the encounter due to a thigh injury, meaning that Sunderland loanee Billy Knott comes in for the the 20-year-old.

Portsmouth: Carson; East, Devera, Bradley, Potts; Ertl, Cooper; Barcham, Wallace, Holmes; Bird

Wycombe Wanderers: Ingram; McCoy, Wood, Doherty, Johnson; Spring, Lewis, Knott, Cowan-Hall; Morgan, McClure
