Defender Tal Ben Haim has revealed that he "still talking" about his future at Portsmouth.
Pompey are desperate to offload the Israel international, who - alongside Liam Lawrence - is one of only two senior professionals on the books at Fratton Park.
Portsmouth want to get rid of their high earners in a bid to avoid the club going under with increasing financial worries. Ben Haim was booed throughout Saturday's friendly win over Bolton as fans continue to fear that the club will go into liquidation if the 30-year-old does not come to an agreement over his contract settlement.
"We are still talking and hopefully I will have something to tell you by Tuesday," Ben Haim told the Sunday Express.
"There is not much more I can say at the moment. I don't want to say anything that will not be helpful."
Ben Haim joined Portsmouth in 2009 from Manchester City.
