Jayden Stockley has joined Portsmouth on a half-season loan from Premier League new boys Bournemouth.
The 21-year-old forward moves along the South coast until January 3 and can feature in all of Pompey's cup matches during his stint at Fratton Park.
"The size of the club and the style of play preferred by the manager both attracted me to the club," Stockley told Portsmouth's website.
"There's a lot of talent around the place and I think we can all be optimistic about the season ahead.
"I've played at this level before and it's a tough league to get out of, but there's enough quality and character in this team to give it a good go."
Stockley appeared for Bournemouth at League One and League Two level, but hasn't featured for the Cherries since their promotion to the Championship in 2013, last season playing at League Two level for Cambridge United and Luton Town.
