Pepe: 'Cristiano Ronaldo from another planet'

Pepe describes Cristiano Ronaldo as being 'from another planet' following his winner against the Czech Republic in Thursday's Euro 2012 quarter-final.

Portugal defender Pepe has claimed that Cristiano Ronaldo is "from a different planet" following the captain's winner against the Czech Republic in the quarter-finals of Euro 2012.

The winger headed in his third goal of the tournament 11 minutes from time to put the 2004 runners-up through to the last four.

"The more you talk about Cristiano Ronaldo, the stronger he gets," Pepe told RTP. "He is a player from another world. To him, being the best in the world means little. He is outstanding.

"On the field of play, I look at him and I think he is from a different planet. He outdoes himself in every game he plays."

The Portuguese will face either holders Spain or France for a place in next month's final.
