Ronaldo wants Euro 2012 glory

Cristiano Ronaldo has claimed that Portugal are aiming to win this summer's European Championship.

The Real Madrid winger featured in his country's goalless draw with hosts Poland on Wednesday.

"We have to have ambition, both in football and in life, to always be the best. We will go to Euro 2012 with the ambition to win," told reporters after the match.

"We know it will be difficult, but we have to think logically. The group stage will be difficult, but nothing is impossible.

"We have to believe we can win. The task is possible but we must keep our feet firmly on the ground."

Portugal find themselves in Group B alongside Germany, the Netherlands and Denmark.
