Doncaster Rovers manager Dean Saunders confirms that Preston North End forward Iain Hume will make his move to the Keepmoat Stadium permanent in January.

Doncaster Rovers and Preston North End have agreed a deal that will see Iain Hume move to the Keepmoat Stadium on a permanent basis in January.

The 29-year-old forward joined the League One club on loan in August and has since scored four goals in 19 appearances.

"We've secured a deal for Iain Hume," Doncaster manager Dean Saunders told the club's official website.

"We've just got to dot the Is and cross the Ts, it's not 100% over the line yet but we've agreed in principle that he's going to stay with us."

Hume has been capped 38 times by Canada at senior international level, scoring six goals.
