Sheffield Wednesday striker Stevie May is reportedly having a medical ahead of a move to fellow Championship club Preston North End.
The 22-year-old has struggled to make an impact at Hillsborough and according to Sky Sports News, May is at Deepdale ahead of a proposed transfer to the Lancashire club.
It is believed that Wednesday were looking for £2m for the Scottish international, but Sheffield Star journalist Dom Howson reported on Twitter that the fee agreed between the two clubs is much lower than that figure.
Simon Grayson has been looking for another striker after he told reporters last week that Jermaine Beckford may need surgery on his injured knee.
May scored seven goals in 39 appearances in the Championship last season after joining the Owls from St Johnstone in 2014.
