Paris Saint-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been warned about his future conduct over a gun gesture made against Toulouse earlier this month, but escaped further punishment at a hearing this morning.
Ibrahimovic appeared to mimic firing a gun towards the Toulouse bench four weeks ago, a message reportedly aimed at former Juventus teammate Jonathan Zebina.
A hearing into the incident was held in the Swedish striker's absence today, with the LFP deciding that a written warning was punishment enough.
An LFP statement read: "Upon hearing the player's representative Olivier Letang and Mr Roman Voillemot [Counsel] and reading the letter of explanation from Toulouse FC, the commission has sanctioned for Mr Zlatan Ibrahimovic a reprimand for his inappropriate gesture towards the Toulouse FC bench."
The 32-year-old has hit top form in recent weeks, scoring four times in PSG's 5-0 win over Anderlecht in the Champions League on Wednesday.
