Angel di Maria left out of squad for Montpellier trip

Angel di Maria will miss Friday's Ligue 1 clash with Montpellier HSC as he continues to recover from a hamstring injury.

Angel di Maria has been left out of the Paris Saint-Germain squad for Friday's Ligue 1 meeting with Montpellier HSC.

The Argentine winger is still recovering from a hamstring injury he picked up before moving to the French capital from Manchester United earlier this month, but it was suggested that he would be ready for his debut on Friday.

However, PSG boss Laurent Blanc has decided against taking a risk on Di Maria's fitness, and he remains on the sidelines with Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who is still battling a knee problem.

The champions have also been dealt a blow with the news that Marco Verratti has picked up a hip injury.
