Laurent Blanc to sign new Paris Saint-Germain contract?

Paris Saint-Germain manager Laurent Blanc claims that he will sign a new contract with the Parisian outfit once they are crowned champions.

Paris Saint-Germain manager Laurent Blanc has claimed that he will sign a new contract with the Parisian outfit once they are crowned champions.

The champions-elect host Rennes on Wednesday holding an eight-point lead over second-placed Monaco, and could potentially win the title prior to the match if the principality club fail to defeat Guingamp in the evening's earlier kickoff.

"I will extend my contract once PSG are crowned champions," Blanc told a press conference on Wednesday.

"It is a principle of mine."

Another win for PSG will also see them set a new record for the most points in a Ligue 1 season, beating the 84 gained by Lyon in 2006.
