Edinson Cavani has claimed that reports over a rift with Paris Saint-Germain teammate Neymar were a "misunderstanding".
Soon after Neymar's world-record move to the Parc des Princes, the pair had an on-pitch disagreement over the taking of a penalty, and it led to suggestions of discontent.
However, Cavani has insisted that he and the Brazilian have a "great relationship" and remain focused on helping the club regain the Ligue 1 title.
The 30-year-old told The Telegraph: "We have a great relationship. We are very professional and our goal is teamwork and the club.
"Everyone was really happy when [Neymar] signed because he's such a great player and so it was a good thing for the club, for the team. It was incredibly exciting for all of us.
"The problem is that many people are not given the correct information and there is a lot of misunderstanding."
Cavani and Neymar have scored 30 goals between them in Ligue 1 this season.
