Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Lassana Diarra admits that his side want to wrap up the Ligue 1 crown as quickly as possible with a win over AS Monaco at the weekend.

Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Lassana Diarra has admitted that his side want to be crowned Ligue 1 champions as soon as possible ahead of their crunch clash with Monaco.

The two sides meet in the French top-flight on Sunday evening with PSG knowing that a victory over their league rivals would see them take the title back from Leonardo Jardim's men at the first time of asking.

"It's a great game between the top two in the standings," Diarra told the club's official television channel.

"It's a little final, even if it's a league game. We will try and win to be champions as quickly as possible. To win the league against Monaco would be even better. It will be a great game."

PSG surrendered a four-year grip on the Ligue 1 crown having lost the title to Les Monegasques last season.
