Paris Saint-Germain manager Laurent Blanc has expressed his pleasure that Thiago Silva has returned back to his best form in time for their crucial match against Lyon.
Lyon currently lead both PSG and Marseille by two points in the Ligue 1 table, but are without key striker Alexandre Lacazette, who is out with a hamstring problem, for their clash with the defending champions.
Blanc is happy that Silva is back to his best in time for one of his side's most important matches of the season.
"It's very reassuring that Thiago Silva is getting back to his best - but I was never worried he wouldn't," the 49-year-old said, according to Goal.com.
"You have to be able to separate the quality and potential of a player from his form. Thiago went through a difficult moment, but he has enormous potential. So when you add form to that, you get a world-class player."
Lyon have not lost a home fixture since August, while PSG have won their last six games in all competitions.
