Marco Veratti delighted with PSG move

Marco Veratti says that he could not say no to the opportunity of playing for Paris Saint-Germain.

Marco Veratti has admitted that moving to Paris Saint-Germain is a dream come true.

The 19-year-old has moved to the French capital from Pescara for a fee in the region of £10m after impressing in Serie B last season.

Veratti, dubbed 'Little Pirlo', signed a five-year deal with Les Parisiens and said that he is now looking forward to the new Ligue 1 season.

"It's an amazing feeling to be rubbing shoulders with players like Ibra, Lavezzi and Pastore," said Veratti. I can't wait for the season to kick off.

"I love Pescara, but in life you have to make choices, this kind of opportunity comes around maybe just once in a lifetime, so I couldn't say no to PSG.

"I'm really happy with everything that's happening. At my age, I'm just trying to do the best I can, and this is what I'll do at Paris to try to repay the faith that this great club has show in me."

The midfielder was included in Cesare Prandelli's provisional 32-man squad for Euro 2012.
