Paris Saint-Germain can secure the Ligue 1 title if they beat Valenciennes and Marseille fail to win against Bastia.

Paris Saint-Germain can seal the Ligue 1 title with a win over Valenciennes when they clash on Sunday.

If Carlo Ancelotti's side take all three points from the game and second place Marseille fail to beat Bastia, then they will be crowned champions for the first time since 1994.

PSG will have to secure the win without several key players including Salvatore Sirigu, Marco Verratti and David Beckham, of all whom were sent off in the 1-0 win over Evian TG last week. Thiago Motta will also miss out due to suspension.

Valenciennes have selection problems of their own as they will be without defender Rudy Mater and former Liverpool striker Anthony Le Tallec for the trip to the Parc Des Princes.

Ancelotti's side are in excellent form going into the game and have lost just one of their last seven matches in Ligue 1.

The visitors are in a similar good run taking five points from a possible nine in their last three games, which has eased their relegation worries.
