Blaise Matuidi scored the only goal of the game as PSG leapfrogged their opponents at the top of the standings.

Lisandro Lopez could have given the visitors a 27th-minute lead, but his effort came back off the post.

The home side eventually made the breakthrough on the stroke of half time as Matuidi headed in Zlatan Ibrahimovic's cross.

Javier Pastore and Ezequiel Lavezzi had chances to double the hosts' advantage after the break, but they were both denied by Remy Vercoutre.
