Paris Saint-Germain come from a goal down to clinch a rampant 5-2 win over Strasbourg in Saturday's Ligue 1 encounter at the Parc des Princes.

Paris Saint-Germain have come from a goal down to secure a 5-2 win over Strasbourg in Saturday's Ligue 1 encounter at the Parc des Princes.

The hosts began brightly as Julian Draxler flashed the ball across the face of goal after just two minutes, but nobody was in the box to apply the final touch.

Just four minutes later Strasbourg were ahead as Eudes Aholou set Kenny Lala off down the right flank, who in turn sliced the ball back into the path of Aholou to slot into the bottom corner of the net.

However, PSG were level on 20 minutes through Draxler, who made the most of a loose ball into the visitors' box to rifle low into the bottom corner beyond the reach of goalkeeper Alexandre Oukidja.

Unai Emery's charges added two more goals in the space of two minutes to surge into the lead as Neymar and then Angel Di Maria both netted with emphatic finishes.

PSG went on to spurn a number of chances and, on 67 minutes, were pegged back to within a goal through Stephane Bahoken, who latched on to Nuno Da Costa's cutback and fired a low effort into the bottom corner.

However, the Ligue 1 leaders restored their two-goal advantage on 73 minutes through Edinson Cavani, who lifted the ball into the net following Javier Pastore's incisive through-ball.

The Uruguayan star then added another six minutes later by chipping Oukidja for a second time, taking his tally for the season to 30 and also netting his record 86th strike at the Parc des Princes.

PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN (4-3-3): Areola; Alves, Silva, Kimpembe, Kurzawa; Draxler (Nkunku 82'), Diarra (Motta 58'), Lo Celso (Pastore 58'); Di Maria, Cavani, Neymar

STRASBOURG (4-2-3-1): Oukidja; Foulquier, Martinez, Kone, Soka; Lala, Aholou; Da Costa (Saadi 78'), Martin (Nogueira 90+1'); Lienard (Goncalves 61'); Bahoken
