Team News: Edinson Cavani benched by Paris Saint-Germain

Paris Saint-Germain leave Edinson Cavani on the bench for their Ligue 1 trip to Bordeaux tonight.

Paris Saint-Germain have left striker Edinson Cavani on the bench for their Ligue 1 clash with Bordeaux at Stade Chaban Delmas tonight.

The summer arrival from Napoli has scored twice in four appearances so far this season, but has only been named among the visitors' substitutes, perhaps due to his international exploits with Uruguay in midweek.

With Jeremy Menez still sidelined and Javier Pastore now also unavailable through injury, Hervin Ongenda and Lucas Moura come into the PSG side, with Ezequiel Lavezzi left out of the squad completely.

Laurent Blanc's other change is at left-back where Lucas Digne replaces the experienced Maxwell, while the hosts, who have won just one of their five opening matches of the season, have made three alterations to their lineup.

Maxime Poundje, Nicolas Maurice-Belay and Czech Republic international Jaroslav Plasil all drop out of the team, with Lucas Orban, Landry N'Guemo and Diego Rolan given a chance in the starting XI.

Bordeaux: Carrasso; Henrique, Sane, Orban, Mariano; Obraniak, N'Guemo, Poko, Rolan; Saivet, Diabate

PSG: Sirigu; Van der Wiel, Silva, Alex, Digne;Thiago Motta, Matuidi; Verratti, Lucas, Ongenda; Ibrahimovic
