Paris Saint-Germain centre-back Thiago Silva has admitted that the uncertainty over coach Carlo Ancelotti's future is affecting the players.
Silva said that he has a good personal relationship with Ancelotti so it would be hard to see the coach leave amid the interest from Real Madrid.
"I've always spoken with Carlo about my plans, because I came to Paris Saint-Germain largely for him and Leonardo," Silva told Sky Sport Italia.
"So the doubt surrounding him at the moment is hard to take. I hope that an agreement will be reached as soon as possible, because the situation is tough for us players as well.
"We're hoping that next season we'll still have a strong team capable of fighting it out in the Champions League."
Andre Villas-Boas has been linked to PSG should Ancelotti leave.
