PSV Eindhoven have defeated NEC 2-1 in the Eredivisie

Jurgen Locadia was first to test NEC goalkeeper Hannes Halldorsson when he directed the ball towards the bottom-right corner.

Luuk de Jong put PSV ahead in the 38th minute from close range and Simon Poulsen nearly doubled the lead just before half time.

The score was levelled in the 63rd minute when Santiago Arias fouled Anthony Limbombe inside the penalty area and Christian Santos powered the ball into the centre of the net.

Locadia won the game for PSV in the 76th minute when he headed in from Maxime Lestienne's corner.

Marcel Ritzmaier attempts to score a late equaliser were in vain as he was twice denied by Jeroen Zoet.
