Queens Park Rangers captain Joey Barton has criticised former manager Neil Warnock after he claimed the midfielder talks too much.
Warnock was sacked as QPR manager after a run of eight games without a win, being replaced at Loftus Road by Mark Hughes.
Barton originally seemed disappointed by the dismissal of Warnock but has hit out at his former boss on Twitter.
"Neil Warnock saying I talk to much. Now that is funny," said the former Newcastle man.
"If I talked about Neil he'd do well to get another job. Twitter cost him his job???? I can think of a million other things! #shutitwarnock.
"Lost his job and the guy is blaming everyone but himself! Embarrassing, time to look in the mirror mate. Last thing we need right. Big week."
Meanwhile, new manager Mark Hughes will be looking for his first league win as QPR manager as his side host Wigan on Saturday.
