Queens Park Rangers assistant coach Kevin Bond has conceded that Burnley deserved their 2-0 victory in Saturday's Championship clash at Turf Moor.
The R's were beaten for the first time in the league this season as they lost the top-of-the-table encounter thanks to a brace from Danny Ings.
"We're always disappointed when we lose," Bond told the club's official website. "Burnley played the game at a high tempo and tried to stop us playing. Full credit to them, they deserved their win.
"We didn't get carried away when we were winning games and went on the unbeaten run so we're certainly not going to get carried away after one defeat."
QPR return to Championship action on Wednesday when they travel to Wigan Athletic.
