Clint Hill delighted by "massive" Queens Park Rangers triumph

QPR defender Clint Hill believes that the team's comeback win against West Brom could be "massive" come the end of the season.

Queens Park Rangers defender Clint Hill has described Saturday's comeback victory over West Bromwich Albion as "massive".

The R's found themselves two goals down inside 20 minutes at Loftus Road before a Charlie Austin hat-trick saw them claim the spoils.

The result has lifted QPR up to 16th place in the Premier League table ahead of a frantic Christmas period.

"It is a massive win when you consider the first 20 minutes being 2-0 down at home," Hill told the club's official website. "It wasn't a great start; we were very sluggish so getting that goal before half time was crucial for us.

"It was really important that we got that goal before half time. 2-0 down is an uphill battle so getting that goal meant we'd been able to limit the damage and that gave us a foothold. We knew if we could start quickly in the second half we'd be on the front foot."

QPR continue their Premier League campaign on Boxing Day when they face Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
