Queens Park Rangers manager Mark Hughes has revealed that he has still not made a decision on who will captain the club next season.
The position is currently vacant after a recent internal investigation resulted in Joey Barton being stripped of the role.
Despite currently being undecided, Hughes believes that the candidates will make themselves known as pre-season progresses.
"I haven't made a decision on who is going to be the captain yet," Hughes told the club's official website. "I think that, as the pre-season goes on, individuals will come forward and it will be easier to make that decision.
"It's important the captain on the field has a good relationship with the group and is able to get my message over to the players as they play.
"We'll have to wait and see, but I'm sure that an obvious candidate will make themselves known."
New signing Park Ji-Sung is believed to be the favourite to be handed the responsibility.
