Michael Laudrup's agent Bayram Tutumulu has calmed speculation linking his client to the Queens Park Rangers vacancy by claiming that he is unlikely to be let go by current club Lekhwiya.
The 50-year-old emerged as a surprise contender after QPR chairman Tony Fernandes tweeted that he had found his "dream manager".
However, reports have claimed that Laudrup is not in line to replace Harry Redknapp at Loftus Road, and Tutumulu has suggested that his client will remain at the Qatari outfit.
"Laudrup is under contract with Qatari club Lekhwiya," Sky Sports News quotes Tutumulu as saying. "Out of respect anyone interested in him should contact the club. I don't think they would let him go because the team are in so many tournaments and competitions."
Laudrup was sacked by Swansea City back in February last year.
