Queens Park Rangers defender Ryan Nelsen has admitted that his team desperately need to beat Fulham this weekend.
The Hoops are still searching for their first Premier League victory of a miserable campaign with 16 matches of the season already played.
Nelsen believes that QPR are close enough to their relegation rivals to mount a fightback if they can win Saturday's West London derby at Loftus Road.
He told The Sun: "We want to win. It's horrible, it feels like a slap in the face and you do anything to find a formula.
"We are one or two wins away from being right back in that pack.
"If we get to the teams, they will start looking over their shoulder at us."
QPR have drawn their first three games under Harry Redknapp's management against Sunderland, Aston Villa and Wigan Athletic respectively.
