Queens Park Rangers winger Matt Phillips will undergo a scan to determine the extent of the ankle injury that he picked up during Saturday's match against Burnley.
Phillips was forced off after just one minute of the eventual 3-3 draw between the two automatic promotion hopefuls after going over on his ankle.
"He went over on his ankle, whether it's ligaments we need to assess but obviously it was sufficiently bad enough for him to come off very early in the game," QPR assistant manager Kevin Bond is quoted as saying by PA.
"That was disappointing. He's been very important for us. I don't know what the prognosis is for that."
QPR, who remained second in the Championship table with the draw, are also missing top scorer Charlie Austin, defender Danny Simpson and midfielder Alejandro Faurlin through injury.
