Shaun Wright-Phillips has revealed that he is aiming to force his way back into Fabio Capello's England squad.
Capello was at Loftus Road yesterday afternoon as Wright-Phillips' Queens Park Rangers claimed a late draw against Aston Villa.
The former Manchester City player was not particularly happy with his own performance, but hopes that he did enough to impress the watching England manager.
"I could have done better, some of my passes were a bit sloppy, but I'm never going to not want to play for my country," he told the Fulham Chronicle.
"If I do well I hope to get into the team.
"You have to focus, [being left out] happened to me at Chelsea as well. Even if you're hurting inside you can't show it."
The 29-year-old joined QPR last month from City.
