Richard Dunne still believes Queens Park Rangers can survive

Queens Park Rangers need at least six more points to survive in the Premier League this season, says defender Richard Dunne after their 0-0 draw with West Ham.

Queens Park Rangers defender Richard Dunne believes his side can still survive this season after their 0-0 draw with West Ham United.

Charlie Austin missed a first-half penalty for the hosts, who now sit four points adrift of 17th-placed Leicester City in the Premier League table.

However, Dunne, who has just come back from injury, believes that they have a chance to stay up as long as they pick up at least six points from their final four games.

He told Sky Sports News: "We need to just be professional and keep going for the next four weeks and try and pick up as many points as we can to give ourselves a chance of staying up.

"We know everyone's got tough games, so we'll probably need to take six or seven points and hope results go for us.

"Our next two games are away from home against the so-called bigger sides and it's going to be very difficult for us but we need to just believe we can get something and go into the last two games of the season giving ourselves a chance of pulling it off."

QPR travel to Anfield to play Liverpool next weekend.
