Agent: 'Cesar won't take pay cut to join Napoli'

The agent of Queens Park Rangers goalkeeper Julio Cesar has insisted that no deal has been agreed for the stopper to join Napoli.

Cesar has been strongly linked with a move to Serie A, but the Brazilian's agent Josias Cardoso has revealed that club president Aurelio de Laurentiis must match his wages at Loftus Road to complete a move.

Cardoso told Radio Crc: "The final choice is in De Laurentiis's hands.

"We have not yet reached an agreement with Napoli about the sum of the goalkeeper's salary.

"They made me a proposal but it is really far from what Julio is currently earning."

Napoli have also been linked with the loan signing of Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina.
